Detailing Preferences

  • Specific Detailing Preferences are provided for customization and control of detailing and drawings produced by the program. Separate preferences for slabs, beams, columns, mats and footings

Slab Preferences

  • Minimum and Preferred reinforcement ratios and bar sizes can be specified even after design has been completed

Slab Rebar Curtailment Rules

  • Modal analysis
  • Eigen analysis with an accelerated subspace iteration algorithm
  • Ritz analysis for optimal mode superposition basis
  • Modes can include P-delta, large displacement and construction effects

Beam Rebar Selection Preferences

  • Dynamic response spectrum analysis
  • Modal combination by SRSS, CQC and GMC(Gupta) methods
  • Directional combination by the SRSS or factored absolute sum method

Dimension Customization

  • Detailing units and format can be different from the units used for analysis and design in SAFE or ETABS
  • Mixed dimension and formats can be used in the same view
    Available dimensioning units are: mm, cm, m (in any number of decimals), Inch (decimal or fraction, “, in), and Inch-ft (decimal or fraction, ft-in, ‘ “ )

Views Item Options

  • Separate control for slab, beam, column, footing, mat and table views
